Styled Shoot: 60’s Inspired Same-Sex Wedding
I am so excited to share this beautiful 1960’s inspired same-sex wedding styled shoot with you all! This shoot is nothing short of glamorous, and is truly one for the books! I had the opportunity to work with a seriously amazing and talented team of vendors on this this styled shoot, and I’ve been waiting for literally over a year to be able to share these images with everyone.
The styling was elegant and classic, but also had some very modern and trendy elements at the same time. The color scheme was gold, champagne and ivory with lots of deep burgundy and touches of pink and green – easily translating into a late summer/fall wedding, or even early spring. Our models were right on trend with their attire, and wore hand-made tea length dresses and vintage jewelry. Hair and makeup was inspired by trends of the 1960’s such as bouffants, beehives, and winged eye liner. The food was culinary excellence, provided by Providence’s only 4 Diamond restaurant. At the end of the day, we all snacked on the delectable mini desserts that were provided – and they were absolutely delicious! The models had such great chemistry and the entire day was super fun and easy going.
This shoot took place just before congress passed the bill for same-sex marriage equality, so this was a major deal for all of the vendors who were part of this. Everything about this styled shoot exudes warmth, elegance, beauty and fun, and we all had such a blast shooting this! I hope you all enjoy!
